Community Taps

Description

What: community taps are not maintained. Kids are playing with the taps and leave the water running on the streets.whenever the tap is broken, community members using the tap have to fix it themselves.
Where: new stand section ikemeleng informal settlement in kroondal outside Rustenburg.
Impacts: whenever the tap is broken,community spend weeks without water if they don't fix the tap by themselves.
Recommendations: municipality together with the surrounding mines should install yards connections to every yard.members of the community will be able to maintain their own property.
