What: community of Ikemeleng has only one entertainment center which is the local taverns. Residents entertain themselves by drinking alcohol in local taverns.
Where: all this is taking place in Ikemeleng Kroondal outside Rustenburg. One of the mine hosting communities registered as ward 35 under Rustenburg local municipality.
Impacts: women becomes victims of crime when this taverns close after midnight. More crime happens more when the taverns close.
Likely causes: local mines and municipality does not support the community in terms infrastructure development. Youth does not have anything to entertain themselves with. their only way to entertainment is through taverns and drinking alcohol.
