Mine Hostels Turned Into Tenants Housing

What: Hostels that were used by Aquarius mine to accommodate its employees are now making money for an individual. Aquarius mine has given the hostels to some white man who has turned them into rooms for tenants.
Where: all this is taking place in Phuane section of Ikemeleng in Kroondal outside Rustenburg.
Impacts: while the community is complaining with overpopulation, someone is benefiting the hostels that suppose to accommodate mine employees. The same tenants who are living in the hostels-turned-houses,most of them are mine employees who were suppose to live free in the compounds.
Likely causes: this is promoted by the mine running away from their responsibilities and extending their costs to the community while they benefit from the hostels.
