Impact: The small Pump station at ext. 17 in Vosman is said to pump and separate waste before transferring the water to Klipsruit main pump station at Kromdraai, the pump station in located next to residence houses however most of the streets of Vosman area are flowing waste sewerage water and there is no service delivery in unblocking the sewerage drain pipes on the streets.
the children play around the waste water and it also passes in residence yard which is a bad impact because of the bad smell.
Other comments: the workers at the station explained that the waste water is the water that we drink but we are not drinking the water from our areas but those from other districts once is cleaned. the water that we drink in emalahleni is not purely clean and one may wonder about the cleaning water process which was unclear when explained.
