"Losing Hope That One Day We Could Be Employed"

We the community of MACHARORA surrounded by the local Mines in Rustenburg nearest to Sun City, We are facing the serious social issues one of them is unemployment in our area. Back in the days even now we were excited when the Geologist found that there is Platinum in our Village cause we thought that standard of living would change because of the Mines surrounding us we thought we gonna live a good life that things could change but things its still the same, most of people are unemployed and every year we have the matriculants that increase the rate of unemployment cause some of them did go further with their studies they are joining those who have been more ten years without being employed. Some of us still hoping that we would be employed at the Mines so that we can be able to provide for our families we can be the bread winners but unemployment rate its very high and the Mines which we are surrounded by them doesn't come up with a solution, we thought that we could be recruited at those Mines but "clearly we were wrong cause those Mines are recruiting people from outside and giving us the lower positions like working undergrounds those difficult positions its like their are treating us as slaves well they took our land from our grannies and yet promised better life of MACHARORA". Unemployment rate leads to crime and teenage pregnancy, the reason why I coded those two is that we as youth are involved in them cause we have no income to provide for our families also to look after ourselves, so by stealing things from our community like television we think that its the only way to survive as we speak in one of our section in MACHARORA high rate of crime its increasing each and everyday cause we lost hope that we could be employed and as for females we already lost hope causing we are prostituting ourselves to the " Blessers " so that we can provide for our families and get income
