Community Social Issues Campaign.

Description

What: Community of Ikemeleng gathered in Ikemeleng sports ground to attend a community meeting to launch a community social issues/challenges campaign. The campaign is run by a non profit organisation called Zakhele.

Where: Ikemeleng sports ground.

Impacts: Community members are slowly becoming aware that social issues are slowly killing the community especially the young people. Issues such as teenage pregnancy, unemployment, peer pressure, growing number of taverns,TB and HIV and AIDS.

Likely causes: most of this social issues,community link them with mines and ignorance of the Rustenburg local municipality.
