MONAMETSE community members are struggling for drinking water.

The water is green in colour but the people used to drinking it, they do not have choice

They fear for illness, in particular, diarrhea. Time before mine operations the river was flowing regularly and powerfully

The water is very dirty. The municipality is responsible to give us water. They really don’t care for local people.

Mining operations blasted down the natural springs, as a results communities suffer from drinking water
