Artasanal mining has become the largest employment sector for tsakane ext 6 community. Unemployed youth, men and women have somehow created employment for themselves by means of artisanal mining. At least in this area they do not fight for territory as they work together to put food on the table for their families. The only challenge they face is police harrasment.
