This I what people of Modimole, Lepatseng village they experiencing everyday after mining operations has been the the past 10-16 years even now they are still drinking water from this borehole. One of the community members she explained that they use this water for everything as we found her doing her washing, behind her there was some cows and goats drinking the same water. Nobody knows if the water is safe to drink but the community that is surrounded by two mines which is Marula platinum mine and Twickenham Hackney shaft have no access any other water sources.
