Blocked Drain Caused By Poor Infrastructure (EEO)

Description

Drain continuously blocks due to poor infrastructure. This happens mainly at the old municipal houses where drains are being neglected and still uses the old steel pipes which are old. In this house in kwa thema the pipe cannot be replaced since there's outside rooms that are built on top of the drain system and in order for it to be replaced or repaired the building has to be demolished. This blockage causes bad odour and its unhealthy it also attracts rats as they drink this water.
