The Polluted Wetland at Vosman

Description

What: the polluted wetland at Vosman that joints to the Olifant River Tributary At Vosman next to the KG mall.
Where: Schoongezicht 308-Js, Emalahleni, Nkangala District, Mpumalanga, South Africa.
Impact: The polluted wetland used to be a place where different cultures or rituals were performed when clean running water was flowing through. Currently the wetland is dirty with waste material,sewerage water, plastics and kinds of bottles etc. The sewerage water from the mall and community of Emsagweni, Vosman and Ex t.3 next to the Vosman SAPS is polluting the stream daily and the Municipality of Emalahleni district is not solving the problem. The smell of the stream is terrible and may lead into diseases such as chronic illnesses such as sinuses, mosquito bites, headaches etc.
