What: The waste treatment plant is poorly maintained by the Tsakane Municipality.
Where: Tsakane township in the Ekurhuleni Region.
Impacts: bad odour is affecting the community, causes Sickness's like enzymer , headache problems ,flooding into the community,
Sick cattle due to drinking the water, skin irritationand other chest related sicknesses.
Likely causes: financial back lock, privatisation of jobs( tendering), employees skill capacity, port planing by municipality, forceful relocation of communities, non consultative processes.
