What: the community of Bokamoso is situated About 800metres from the Anglo American platinum waterfall smelter. There have been several protests of work demand from the smelter in the previous years and this year alone there have been three.
Where: Anglo American platinum waterfall smelter is one of the oldest smelters of Anglo American platinum. It is situated next to Bokamoso community.
Impacts: The is very close to the community but it does not employ the locals who are directly affected by their operation.
Likely causes: all mining houses are the same. They do not employ local people,which is something that causes the division within the communities.
