Where: At an unnamed road, Ga-makgopa, Sekhukhune District, Greater Tubatse municipality, Limpopo, South Africa
Impact: The Anglo American Twickenham platinum mine relocated the community of Makobakoba from their rich, fetal soil to a dry land where they are unable to farm, get clean water and grazing land for their livestock. The community was highly affected during blasting and it destroyed their houses and the mine relocated the community to Magobading with promises they never kept. They exhumed some of their graves, they also lost some of their livestock.
Other comments: The relocated community is not happy where they are because life is not the same as before relocation.
