What: Daphne 50 yo born here. Mines were here when she was born. "I have chronic asthma, last month I was in the hospital for 3 months. The doctor told me it was the dust. I don't smoke, but I was very short breath. The dr said I was lucky to make it, i should have died. I sleep with oxygen on. I became chronic 18 years ago. Winter is when my asthma is worse. My sister passed away from it. The dust is yellow brown, I don't go outside when it comes. My grandchild has chest problems. My oldest sister developed problems before she moved to Kimberly. My kids have problems with eczema. There are many children at the school with asthma. The dust problem isn't a secret. They don't hire people from our community. I was surprised and shocked when the dr told me he knew it was from the dust."
